Uncle John's Elk Creek Campground About Us

Uncle John’s Elk Creek Campground is located right on the world famous Elk Creek, about a mile from the mouth, known for steelhead

fishing. The steelhead begin their run in September, and continue through April. If you've never fished for steelhead, you don't

know what your missing! They're one of the hardest-fighting, fresh water fish, pound for pound.

Located on 15 sprawling acres, guests are welcome to use the grounds for camping, and the terrain is perfect for hiking. Uncle

John also offers cozy cabins, or furnished rail-road cars, complete  with a personal fire ring for those late nights to tell

your fishing stories. RV camping is available right along the creek with electrical, water, and dump station hook-ups. 

Restrooms and showers are also on site. 

Uncle John's offers a perfect location for Boy and Girl Scout meetings and camp-outs. We also support Junior Sportsmen clubs.

Storage for RV's and Boats are available on a monthly or bi-yearly rate. Contact us for details.
